Long Time No Post
Well don’t think that just because I have no official posts listed here for some time that I have not been busy. Actually I have just finished adding a bunch of stuff to the site. Two new pages were introduced: one for Gus and one for Rene. Then some time along the way while I was working on some adjustments to Gus’ page I lost the whole thing. Imagine working for several hours straight and then on the very last alteration you hit the “Update Page” button and it is all GONE!! My brain short circuited and all I can remember is staring in utter disbelief at the screen. After several recovery attempts I decided to calmly shut it down for the night and try again the next day.
So the next day came and line by line I was able to restore the page from a slightly older archive. After another several hours of work I hit the final update and …. it was gone again. So after hollering, “NOOOOOOOOOO!” really loudly and scaring both the cat who was sleeping in the chair and the deaf dog lying in the kitchen I tried another approach and, phew, I think I got it.
So now the page is restored and updated with some new photos and a new video which you can check out. As well, I have posted an older update on behalf of Rene because there seemed to be some concern that his page wasn’t working properly but all seems well for the moment.
Read the most recent posts and get all caught up and I’ll try to be a little more present in making posts so that you don’t think nothing is happening.
