Dear Friends and Supporters of NGM:
I want to thank you all for your continued support of NGM in its mission to reach the school age boys and girls of Bolivia with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Because of your partnership with NGM literally tens of thousands of children, their teachers and families have not only heard and had the opportunity to respond to the Gospel, but also have received literature such as Bibles, Bible portions and materials which clearly explain the Bible from creation through to the second coming all at no cost to themselves.
Although accurate recent statistics are not yet compiled, the leadership of NGM wish to assure you that the work of evangelism and literature distribution is still ongoing.
As most of you are aware the Board of NGM believed the Lord was leading the ministry to make certain changes to better facilitate the work we all hold so dear. Several representatives of NGM traveled to Bolivia earlier this year to meet with the field workers and investigate various means of accomplishing the goal by greater utilization of local leaders and existing infrastructure. However, since returning from the field there is still a lack of clarity as to exactly what form those changes are to take. Therefore, since March 18th members of the Board have been meeting together for at least an hour each day specifically to pray and search the scriptures together seeking God’s will for the future direction of NGM. This has been an exhilarating time effecting the personal lives of those participating in many wonderful and unanticipated ways even beyond their involvement in NGM. Think of it, 49 days (at the time of this writing) of meeting together seeking God’s will with a commitment to continue until that path is discovered.
I would like to invite you to join us in spirit each day to pray for guidance and for wide open doors for the Gospel among the school children of Bolivia. As the Lord opens those doors and we walk this exciting path of discovery we will keep you informed as to how our combined prayers have been and are being answered.
For the Month of April we visited 9 schools, 306 teachers and 40,271 students.
You may wonder about only visiting 9 schools and yet 40,271 students and 306 teachers, well that is partly because of large schools, and partly because of having supplied other pastors with Scripture booklets for whom we have no count of the number of teachers.
Thank you again for your ongoing support financially and, MOST importantly: in prayer.
Gus, on behalf of NGM.
