Dear Friends and Supporters of NGM:
What do you do when you have a bunch of material on hand where the language of the people of that language (of the material) are a thousand km. away?
Well, many of you will remember a former worker named Rene who became corrupt and is no longer with us, but his family is keeping in touch with me and I have responded to them. Last week one of the girls had a birthday and I was invited.
As it turned out one of the girls’ boy friend has a truck with plans to go to the city where the material needed to go, All I needed to do was bring the material to his truck.
Just a little background, this family has been without father and without mother but are staying together. The mother (the lady with the green sweater) is with them some of the time now but the family has to fend for themselves.
I really don’t know what all this means, and how can I turn my back on them when they look to me for emotional support? They have asked me to come and cook a Canadian dinner for them before I leave.
This is really out of the ordinary as far as NGM is concerned, but please pray that I will be very sensitive to the Lord’s leading and let me not fall into a trap.
May the Lord richly bless each one of you for your support prayerfully and financially.
Gus, on behalf of NGM.
