Well it seems a lot of time has passed and I’m still just getting around by bus and taxi and walking. Funds that have come in for the next vehicle during the month of June came to $2,400 CAD. This leaves us with about $9,000 US. Chaco Mission from Paraguay has offered to do some as well, so when that arrives we’ll start looking for a vehicle.
This will not give us the kind of vehicle we had thought about getting, but it is probably better because it is better for missionaries to not drive around with the latest models. And besides it is possible to get a good older model that cost a lot less. On behalf of the Board I want to thank each of you who have given and or prayed for this project.
René and his family are coming to a town close to Santa Cruz (Montero) to do a missions conference on the 20th, and after that they come to Santa Cruz for the weekend.
The S situation still has instability. We brought all their furniture to R’s place. WR found a job for HS, and he worked one day.
The next day he stayed in bed. Then he decided that he wanted them to go back to the colony. NS is firmly convinced that she should not go back to the Colony, so HS went alone.
Tomorrow he plans to come with some help to get all the furniture. NS thought she might not be there when they come. So if you would please pray for this situation would be much appreciated. (Names have removed for privacy reasons, editor)
May the grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ be with you all.
Gus, on behalf of the Board of NEXT GENERATION MINISTRIES, BOLIVIA
